MIDLAND PARK, N.J.
As part of its ongoing efforts to support local non-profit organizations, Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction will be holding two fund-raising plant sales at its Landscape Gallery at Barnstable Court in Saddle River on October 11 and October 13.
On October 11 Jacobsen Landscape will be selling flowering chrysanthemums at the Landscape Gallery, with proceeds going to City Green, a local non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban farms and gardens in Northern New Jersey’s cities to enrich the lives of inner city residents. The mum sale will take place from 5 to 8 p.m.; rain date is October 12.
On October 13 Jacobsen Landscape will once again hold a mum plant sale, this time with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. This event will also take place from 5 to 8 p.m.; rain date is October 20.
Representatives from both Jacobsen Landscape and each non-profit organization will be at both events.
“We’ve partnered with City Green and Habitat for Humanity on other activities and we respect the hard work and effort that the group and volunteers put forth in their organization,” says Glenn Jacobsen, CLM, owner of Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction, which has headquarters in Midland Park and the new Landscape Gallery at Barnstable Court in Saddle River. “We want to continue to support their worthy efforts and this is our way of giving back to the community that supports us so well.”
