New unit combines business units under one management team for enhanced customer service
MIDLAND PARK, N.J. - September 21, 2010 - In a move to manage its continued growth while improving service to its residential and commercial customers throughout northern?New Jersey, Jacobsen?Landscape Design and Construction has formed a Property Management Group that brings together its diverse business units.
The recently formed Property Management Group consists of the company's long-standing Residential Maintenance, Lighting, Irrigation, Garden Care, Commercial Maintenance and Snow Removal units. These services previously operated as independent business departments within the company.
"Our business has continued to grow even in the challenging economic climate in northern?New Jersey for the past two years and the formation of a focused Property Management Group will enable us to manage this growth while preparing us for the future," says founder and owner Glenn?Jacobsen,?CLP. Jacobsen Landscape's headquarters and Design Center are located in Midland Park, and the?company also recently opened a Landscape Gallery at bucolic Barnstable Court in?Saddle River.
"Like many industries in New Jersey, the landscape business is consolidating and it is vital that we continue to position ourselves as one of the region's largest privately owned landscaping design and construction companies," adds Jacobsen. "This Group combines the talents and energies of our first-class management team and designers to ultimately better serve our residential and commercial clients."
Among the benefits of the Property Management Group is the ability of one company to offer full knowledge of customer property requirements through an array of services, ranging from maintenance and snowplowing to lighting and irrigation. Cost efficiencies within the new division will allow for service integration aimed at year-round property care and higher property value/greater curb appeal for clients.
As part of the new organization, Kevin Malone and Ben Grace will focus on the company's Irrigation and Lighting Design and Service; Dan Gubitosa will direct the Residential Lawn and Garden Care unit; and Ed Gorman will head Commercial Property Maintenance and Snow Removal.
"Basically, we have brought all of our property management operations under one roof for the benefit of our clients," says Jacobsen Landscape's Kevin Malone. "The secret of a really stunning property is the creative blending of design, color and care. The management team will be collaborating closely on all of these facets of the landscaping project."
Jacobsen Landscape celebrated its 30th year in business last year as a full-service company specializing in design/build, residential and commercial property maintenance, irrigation/water management, outdoor lighting, and commercial snow removal. The organization has been recognized nationally as one of the top landscape companies in America by Landscape Management Magazine and was featured on nationally syndicated Home & Garden (HGTV) for its award winning design of a unique, urban residential backyard in Hoboken, N.J.
Its newest Landscape Design Center & Garden Gallery is located at Saddle River's Barnstable Court, off East Allendale Avenue between East and West Saddle River Roads. Besides serving as a showcase for its work, the Gallery is designed as a beautiful venue for community and social events including, among others, Garden Clubs, Educational Foundations, Non-Profits, local artists and environmental groups.
