Healthy Herbs Focus of Jacobsen Landscape Session at Franklin Lakes Health Fair

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. - February 9, 2010 - With an increasing emphasis on healthy ingredients in our daily diet, a timely session on "Edible Herbs for Healthy Living" will be held on Saturday, March 13, as part of the Franklin Lakes Health Fair at Franklin Avenue Middle School. The session will be led by Jessica Agnello, a Landscape and Garden Design Consultant at Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction.

As part of the event, a special demonstration on herb container planting will be led by Agnello beginning at 11 a.m. on March 13. This demonstration will be of particular interest to children and young adults looking to learn more about the use of herbs for healthy living.

The event is part of the Mayors Wellness Campaign, an initiative of the New Jersey League of Municipalities to promote health and wellness throughout New Jersey's cities and towns and is being promoted by Franklin?Lakes Mayor Maura DeNicola.

Agnello, who holds a degree in Landscape Design from SUNY-Cobleskill, specializes in landscape and custom garden design as well as project management.
