Landscape Sales & Design Professional

Description: Estimate and sell landscape design / build projects. Meet with clients to determine needs, design ideas, budget and project scheduling. Prepare conceptual / partial / full plan for customer review. Prepare and present proposals.  Manage, oversee and schedule jobs sold for complete customer satisfaction.  Have involvement in all facets of a premier landscape design / build firm.

Qualified applicants possess 3+ years of design / build experience including customer relations, proposal preparation / presentation, and project management skills.

Landscape Construction Supervisor / Crew Leader

Description: Design / build firm looking for multiple Landscape Construction Supervisors and Crew Leaders. Duties include, but not limited to: Review projects throughout production. Oversee multiple projects. Monitor production hours. Communicate with clients throughout job. Sequence jobs with staff to ensure orderly, efficient execution of work. Daily set up of crews. Communicate scheduling needs to appropriate personnel: trucks, crews, machines, etc.  Organize and obtain materials as needed.  Set and enforce production standards for crews.  Communicate with Sales / Management staff throughout project.

Qualified applicants possess 3+ years of experience running jobs and crews (Hardscape, Softscape, etc.)

Lawn & Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader

Description: Multiple Lawn and Grounds Maintenance Crew Leaders needed for both residential and commercial crews. Lead your crew of 2 to 3 in the daily completion of all assigned tasks on your route.  This includes spring and fall clean ups, weekly maintenance, mulching, plantings, etc.  All accounts must be addressed in a timely manner, including taking care of any special requests made by clients.  All accounts must be left in a neat, clean, and well maintained condition.  The Crew Leader will also train crew members in the operation of all maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualified applicants will possess 3+ years of experience in running Lawn and Grounds Maintenance crews.  Driver license required.

INTERNSHIPS

Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction offers seasonal internships.  We offer students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they've gained in the classroom to the field. Our program is geared towards students taking part in Landscaping or Horticulture programs.  Students will gain hands on experience in, and an overview of the landscaping field in general by spending time in each of our departments: Design, Sales, Construction, Maintenance, Irrigation, Lighting, ACM (After Care Management) and Nursery.

The goal of the program is to hire successful interns as full time employees after graduation.
