My husband and I want to hire a landscaping company to do some work in our yard over the summer. We've never hired a landscaper before, though, so I'm happy that I found your post! Landscapers should not only be able to communicate the plan to you visually but be able to advise the challenges involved in maintaining that landscape design some years from installation. Trees for instance could grow and weeds can collect over time. Hedges could grow out of control without proper trimming.
